In 1925, life is peaceful in a small Provence village that is just getting over the ravages of the Great War. But the arrival of four delightful young women accompanied by an elegant and authoritarian lady throws the quiet village and its inhabitants into turmoil when they discover that the girls are prostitutes from Marseilles who have come to the country for a rest. Differences in mentality appear. But love manages to sort everything out in the end.
