ROSES IN WINTER

At 80 years old and suffering an incurable disease, Jean decides to stop his therapy and to put an end to his life. Along with his wife, he announces it to their children who are shocked by his decision. Elsa, Thomas and Julien react differently, showing their personalities, their weaknesses and the relationship between them and their parents. Elsa, a divorced mother with two kids, is devastated while Thomas, the elder, appears insensitive and the family's youngest, Julien, overprotected, seems to understand his father. Incidentally, Elsa discovers that her mother is also secretly preparing her own « last departure », being determined not to find herself alone. However, life will have the last word by giving the strenght to everyone to face, when the times come, this separation for eternity...
