Kicked out by his wife and unemployed, François has no alternative but to go back and live with his mother, Alice, in the little town of his childhood.

Not daring to confess the situation to her, he makes up a job in a local company therefore justifying his return to the family home.

But this new cohabitation won't go without problems, as Alice no longer bears the whims of his son in addition with the further discovery of his mother having an affair...
